Small Town Emo follows the story of Ken, a seventeen year old emo with an awkward crush on his goofy best friend; Fergus.

In the lead up to a costume party, Ken and Fergus spend the day loitering around their small New Zealand town. Can Ken find the courage to confess his feelings, or is he doomed to have depressing song lyrics as his Messenger status for the rest of eternity?
