In this explosive, action-packed thriller, veteran cop Mappy (Mappy the Mouse, as himself) has come a long way from the tough city arcade of his childhood. Mappy escaped to become a cop, but after a long and decorated career as a police officer, he now drowns the demons of his past at the local bar.

Then Mappy's life changes forever when a ruthless psychotic killer murders his oldest friend in cold blood. Hired to solve the case by his friend’s widow (Academy Award-nominee Ms. Pac-Man, as herself) Mappy begins an investigation that will take him into the seedy underbelly of the arcade, where everyone is a potential suspect. To defeat the killer, the two must work together as Mappy scours the worlds of Paperboy, Gauntlet, Burgertime, and Bubble Bobble, piecing together the clues to solve the case.
