7:49 in the morning, Monday. Our protagonist has just arrived in the Big City by bus with the intention of getting employed in the Stain Financial company. On his way to the company's office building, he finds a shiny quarter. He gets past the security check and enters the building, where a friendly female secretary greets and urges him to wait for his interview on the couch. There he meets a man dressed as a cowboy and after a brief dialogue, the secretary instructs the protagonist to follow her to M. Stain's room. At the end of the long hallway, she opens the door to his room and leaves the protagonist alone. M. Stain, a millionaire playboy tycoon, politely greets the hero and offers him a seat on one of the two chairs in front of his table. The choice is pointless, as M. Stain's reaction is virtually the same, regardless of which chair we chose. He then asks the protagonist if he's comfortable and whether he replies positively or negatively, M.
