Eggman Hates Furries (2010)

Eggman Hates Furries is a Game Maker-based Sonic the Hedgehog fangame made by Oddwarg, billed as a 2D physics-based platformer which focuses on refined boss battles and stylish presentation. The plot is fairly simple, but not nonexistent. The story opens with Sonic racing Dr. Eggman to one of the Chaos Emeralds.
